Breakfast is the MVP of meals for a reason, because eating a nutritious breakfast sets the tone for your day and helps maintain your blood glucose and metabolism (shout out regular moving bowels!).
But oatmeal shouldn’t only be saved for the most important meal of the day. It’s also perfect served up with a side of linen.
So, here’s a recipe for oatmeal that you can eat in your oatmeal – it’s oatmeal on oatmeal!
You will need:
- 1 serving quick-cooking or old-fashioned rolled oats
- blueberries, strawberries, blackberries
- 1 tbsp sunflower seeds
- 1 tbsp of pistachios
- 1 tbsp of almonds
- Maple syrup
Directions:
Prepare oats according to the package. Top with all the berries nuts and seeds. Drizzle with maple syrup to your heart’s content.
Bonus tip: If you want to get particularly Instagrammable, make sure you bust out your tweezers to position those toppings with precision.
